Bruce Barnden (1925-2009)

He was educated at Hereford College of Art and had his first exhibition in the town art gallery in 1959. He was an art master before retiring to Frome in Somerset with his wife, a fellow artist Elizabeth Felton, whom he had met at college. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and a retrospective was held in Hereford in 2012. He is represented in the collection of Worthing Museum and Art Gallery.
