Ejnar Johansen (1893-1965)
A Swedish painter he studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under Julius Paulsen who had a great influence on his career. Early years were spent on figures in interiors but lively cityscapes of European capitals characterised his later output. He lived and exhibited in Charlottenburg for most of his working life although travelled to France regularly in the middle years of the last century. He held several exhibitions in Hong Kong in the 1920s and 30s and his work is represented in Bornholm Art Museum.
