Heskel Joory (1925–2015)
Joory studied at the Academia di Brera in Milan and at the Académie Julian in Paris. He travelled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East and this clearly greatly influenced his style and palette. At the beginning of 1970 he arrived in England. His work was widely exhibited with a one man shows at the Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool; The Tib Lane Gallery and Granada House, Manchester; and the Park Square Gallery, Leeds. His work has readily sold to a wide variety of collectors at home and abroad.
