Louise Balaam RWA NEAC

Louise studied at Kent Institute of Art and Design and further at Christchurch University College. She is an artist whose landscape paintings are a direct response to the environment that she captures within her work. Louise makes preliminary studies in situ before creating the final works in her studio in Kent. She has collected numerous awards and accolades, regularly being chosen for inclusion in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Threadneedle Prize Exhibition, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Lynn Painter-Stainer Prize and winning the Odin Trust Prize.
