Manuel Romero (Born 1943)

A Spanish artist, Romero trained at the School of Fine Arts in Granada. He has held the post of the only official copyist at the Prado museum in Cordoba province since 2003. He has specialised in studying and copying work of the golden age of Spanish Baroque, particularly paintings by Velasquez. This work is an original composition executed about forty or fifty years ago.
