Oscar Carl Fredrik Herman Keen (1867-1947)
Born in Stockholm, Keen studied there at the Free Art Academy from 1886 to 1892 under the painters Oscar Törnå and Gillis Hafström. He painted Landsdcapes and genre scenes professionally at home and in Germany. He produced illustrations and cartoons for the Swedish press and was also known as a portraitist. His work is represented in the Swedish Portrait Gallery, the National Museum in Stockholm and the Gothenburg Art Museum.
