Roy’s People

Roy Tyson specialises in creating unique images and installations using miniature figures. Each figure is hand painted and then put into a scene designed to be intriguing, humorous and above all fun. He then photographs the scene of which limited edition prints are created.

Originally Roy started taking photos of model train figures. Then, having always been inspired by Street Art and the likes of Banksy, he decided to create his own version of street art by taking photos of the little people in street locations. Usually he will use every day items in the pictures as props, which gives the viewer an idea of the scale of the figures used.
