Edward Beale

Following the success of his first solo exhibition with us Edward has chosen a small selection of his favourite paintings from his own studio collection to show in our lower gallery. Although mainly consisting of new works from his painting trip in the Pyrenees last Spring, we will also be offering some earlier paintings from his 2002 series recording the changing landscape and Thames views around the Docklands and Canary Wharf. His distinctive handling of paint in rich luxurious texture is always difficult to convey adequately on the page or screen so we urge you to come and see the works in the flesh to fully appreciate their true visual power.
