Charles Sjöholm (born 1933)

Sjöholm is a Swedish painter and graphic artist born in Stockholm where he studied at the College of Arts. His paintings are often depictions of his home city and its characters painted in a naïve, gently humorous style. He belongs to the Kristinebergsgatan group of artists and exhibits with the Spånga Art Association. He is represented in the collections of the Östergötland County Council, the city of Umeå, Stockholm City Cultural Affairs Department, Traffic Bore, Folksam and private collections in Europe and the United States.
